Abraham was adopted from Foothills Animal Shelter in 2011. He was only two years old and had been to the shelter three times. His dad had returned to look one last time for someone to join their family when he saw Abraham. The head tilt was all his dad needed to know that this was the one. Abraham now lives with his parents and two best friends, a bunny and duck. He loves camping, hanging out in his chair and being with his parents.
Abraham has been a canine blood donor since 2012 and has saved 77 lives. Before he comes in for donations, his parents ask if he is ready to saves lives; he jumps up and sings each time. We love having Abraham in our blood donor program and are sad that he will be retiring before too long.
