Laura L. McKeever, DVM

Laura McKeever was born in Washington D.C. and grew up outside of the city in McLean, Virginia. After graduating from the University of Virginia with a BS in Biology, Dr. McKeever taught outdoor education to 5th and 6th graders in southern California and then moved to St. Louis, where she taught 7th grade science and 9th grade biology for three years. She earned her veterinary medicine degree from Colorado State University in May 2001, and accepted an internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital. At the conclusion of her internship program, she was hired to stay on as a general practitioner at the hospital.

She and her husband, Chip McReynolds, live in Arvada with their son, Cullen. Her mixed-breed dog, Nevada; Golden Retriever, Jake; Dachshund, Franz Otto Schultzenheimer; and cats, Franklin and Mr. Jowls also share the home.
