Tom A. Adducci, DVM Dr. Tom Adducci is a Colorado native, born and raised in north Denver. He attended Mapleton High School, graduating in 1983. He then attended Colorado State University, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree and Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, in 1991. Dr. Adducci practiced in a mixed animal practice for 4 years, and then joined a small animal practice in west Denver, becoming a partner. He practiced at this hospital for 15 years. He became certified in veterinary acupuncture in 2004 at CSU, and went on to study advanced acupuncture at the Chi Institute in Reddick, Florida. He has also taken classes in Chinese herbal medicine. His special interests are acupuncture and herbal medicine, along with pain management. He also enjoys surgery. Dr. Adducci and his wife, Candace, live in north Denver, with their two children, Dominic and Gianna. Their pets currently include two cats, Mouse and Cleo. Dr. Adducci enjoys fishing, hiking and the outdoors. He also has a special interest in Kung fu & Tai Chi.
